It is hard to believe the Month of May is upon us. This year is truly going by fast.

Since the last update, we had Victory Sunday at our church and I can tell you that Oasis truly had victory. We were able to raise just over $21,000 dollars a month for our debt retirement for all the phases of construction. To God be the glory! We are only about $800 dollars a week short from meeting our goal. Please pray that these commitments come in faithfully.

We also just completed our 2nd annual couples’ retreat and I believe that everyone that went would say it was a success. Our attendance this year doubled from last year. You may be asking what this has to do with construction and I tell you it has everything to do with it. We are building buildings but they are a tool to build families and I am so excited about what God is doing in the hearts and lives of the families here at Oasis. Let’s not forget what this is all about. We want to be able to reach more families for the cause of Christ.

Please be in prayer for the two months to come. The auditorium is scheduled to be completed by the end of June and the parking lot will start this month with a scheduled completion by the end of July.

There is no doubt in my mind that God’s hand is upon us, so let’s be faithful and remember, “To whom much is given much is required.” Lori and I love you and thank God we get to serve Him together with you.
